Elle est née près des SABLES D’OLONNE (France). Après avoir travaillé en tant que photo-modèle en France et dans d’autre pays, elle vient s’établir au bord du Lac Léman en Suisse.

Katia trouve de grands moments pour faire de la sculpture, bien qu’ayant deux enfants. Sa sculpture consistait en l’assemblage de cailloux en provenance de l’Océan Atlantique. Après de nombreuses expositions pleines de succès, Katia arrête de sculpter, et démarre quelques années plus tard avec des pinceaux, couteaux et couleurs acryliques sur toiles.

La peinture de Katia est gaie, pleine de vie et de couleurs. Elle lui ressemble. Fantasque, caméléon, Katia a besoin de se « doper » dans le changement des thèmes, sa mémorisation ainsi que la vie de tous les jours servent de moteur à son inspiration.

Katia expose sa peinture dans le monde entier depuis plus de 40 ans, artiste autodidacte,l’on ne peut qu’envier sa poésie et sa liberté.
 

She is born near LES SABLES D’OLONNE (France) and she has been working for several years as a photo-model in France and in other countries. Katia comes to Switzerland to live on Geneva’s lake.

Katia found moments to make sculpture, even when married with two children. Her sculpture was made with crude stones brought back from the Atlantic coast.

After numerous and successful exhibitions Katia stopped her art, to start again a few years after, with paintbrushes knives and acrylic colours on canvas

Katia’s painting is happy, full of life and colours. Her painting looks like she is. Fantastic, chameleon, Katia needs to change themes, her memory and daily life are her inspiration..

Katia exhibits her paintiings worldwide since more than 40 years. Self-taught, we only can envy her poetry and her freedom.
